About Sarai
Possessing a rich, powerful voice that evokes unmistakable echoes of opera greats such as Birgit Nilsson and Jessye Norman, Sarai Cole is an internationally acclaimed Verdian/Wagnerian soprano and a rising star in the opera world,
Known for her expressive voice and captivating stage presence, and her artistry in Verdi and Wagner repertoire, she is currently covering Sieglinde in "Die Walküre" with Regents Opera in London and recently performed Chrysothemis in "Elektra" with Dramatic Voices Berlin and Elisabeth in a scene from "Tannhäuser" with the Boston Wagner Institute.
Sarai’s career highlights include performing on world-class stages such as Carnegie Hall, the Berliner Philharmonie, and Teatro Sodre. Her solo show "Wesendonck Project" featuring Wagner’s Wesendonck Lieder and poetry by women of color has been praised for its innovation and emotional depth.
A recipient of numerous awards and grants, Sarai brings warmth and authenticity to her performances, connecting deeply with audiences worldwide. Based in Berlin and Los Angeles, she continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
